The McCain Ranch suports our troops and wants to help bring Lex home. I am including this in my newsletter this week (11/30/07), hopefully we can reach more people.

My heart goes out to Dusty's family. They deserve to have Lex with them. That's the least the government can do for "our" soldier and his family that has paid the ultimate price for his country. I am proud of our soldiers & proud to be an American. If the government does not honor this request....."shame on them!"

Bring Lex home!

I'm very willing to contribute whatever little I can afford, and even help raise funds from other sources, to have this happen more often. Needless to say, I'm a serious dog-lover (I have four spaniels), and one of my favorite non-fiction books is John Burnam's "A Soldier's Best Friend," about his scout dog experiences in Vietnam....moving and fascinating. -Craig, cloverandstorm@gmail.com

Just caught the news on CNN about this.. What a great story...

One cannot understand the relationship a Handler and His K9 partner has. Hes your buddy, your co worker, your mentor, and most of all your friend...

Every military K9 should be allowed to retire with their handler as most Law Enforcement K9's do....

Enjoy retirement LEX.... RIP Dusty.....
